ATJ Blog Post #6

The Internet of Things (IoT) is real, it is exciting and scary to some, but it is rapidly generating winners and losers.  To keep it in perspective – it’s just the natural and logical extension of ‘things’ over decades of elemental improvement and innovation that are all coming together with new capabilities… in preparation for the next evolutionary step.  Remember the horror stories about what the introduction of computers was going to do to us all?

So all this should not be surprising – as the things that made what is before us possible has been constantly unfolding.  Every new decade presents practitioners & innovators with a brand new palette upon which to build new capabilities and paradigms.  It will continue to evolve so lets suck it up and deal with it.
